This session focused on the methods, tools and techniques for materialising knowledge co-production among a range of urban actors. The objective of the session was to bring together scholars and practitioners working at the intersection of social justice and urban development to explore the following questions, among others: how are urban built environments studied, and by whom? What are the epistemologies that move beyond critique and towards transformation? How are the resulting environments to be evaluated?
